MAR-KOV Announces release of CMS Version 7
Valdata Systems and Mar-Kov Computer Systems are pleased to announce the release of Chameleon CMS version 7. Included in this release are the following new or improved features:
Significantly Faster
Developed in .NET, CMS has reduced the number of communication transactions required between our software and the server significantly increasing performance.
No Citrix or Terminal Server Required
CMS no longer requires a permanent unbroken connection to the server - our software automatically reconnects as necessary. This makes implementation across a WAN extremely efficient. Brower based convenience without the limitations.
User Customizable Forms
All forms can now be customized by the user. This includes adding and removing fields, renaming fields, reorganization fields and adding new tabs to a form.
User Customizable Reports
All reports are end user customizable.
Batch Execution (Improved)
CMS now prompts and polices the operator through the execution of a batch including all process steps, equipment reservation, equipment cleaning and sanitization. With this added functionality paper documents are no longer required to fully execute a manufacturing order.
Packaging Order Execution
We will guide the operator through the execution of packaging orders including equipment reservation and enforcement of equipment cleaning/sanitization procedures. This feature provides traceability for all ingredients and packaging materials.
Workflow (Improved)
Workflow can be attached to most processes in CMS. Workflow enhancements include automatic e-mail notification of all concerned parties.
Scale Calibration (Improved)
Our software will enforce the calibration of scales according to user defined schedules.

Valdata to be implemented at new Hagelin plant in Georgia
Based on the success of the system installation in Branchburg New Jersey, Hagelin and Company has decided to implement Chameleon CMS in its newly acquired plant in southern Georgia. The facility is expected to come on-line by the end of Q1 2008.

Valdata receives rave reviews during customer video taping
Valdata's customer base is so pleased with the performance of the systems installed that a number of them have allowed their facilities to be video taped as well as interviewing some of their key employees. It's not every day that your customers allow you to film in their facility. Its just another testament to the quality and value that Valdata products provide for it's customers. Valdata Completes another installation at Mastertaste
Valdata Systems has completed another installation at one of the countries most respected Flavor and Fragrance manufacturing companies, Mastertaste (member of Kerry Group Plc). As with other installations within the former Manheimer facilities, compounders find the system easy to use. Management also states that Dispense Master is an invaluable tool, which increases efficiency through real time inventory visibility; the system ensures that inventory levels are accurate by means of direct scale communications and the electronic transfer of material usage / creation information directly back to their host MRP, iRen. This information is transferred without user intervention within seconds of its consumption / creation. Dispense Master is paving the path to paperless manufacturing for Mastertaste.

Valdata customer so pleased that interviews are permitted
In Q2 of 2005, Valdata Systems completed an end to end installation at Hagelin, a flavor and Fragrance manufacturer in Central New Jersey. Having used the system for just over a year now, they are so pleased that Valdata was allowed to interview some of their employees.

Valdata Completes installation at major pharmaceutical plant
Valdata Systems recently completed an installation of the CMS system at Actavis in Elizabeth NJ and their central distribution center in Columbia MD. The first phase of the project was completed early in June and the system is expected to expand into a second and third phase possibly by years end.
Actavis' recent acquisition of the generics business of Alpharma positions the company among the five leading generic pharmaceutical companies in the world, with 10,000 employees in over 30 countries. Founded in 1956, the Group now operates across five continents and has its headquarters in Iceland.
Actavis is a financially strong and profitable business that has experienced rapid growth and good profitability in recent years. Actavis is a listed company on the Icelandic Stock Exchange Actavis, with a market capitalization over US$2 billion as of December 2005.

Valdata's Dispense Master is selected as corporate solution for multinational F&F
One of Valdata Systems first customers, who was recently purchased by a multi-billion dollar international company, has selected Dispense Master as their corporate solution for shop floor data collection. Working in conjunction with the Ross ERP, Valdata expects the first of 9 plants to go live in the beginning of Q2 2006. From there, the remaining plants will be rolled out over a 12-18 month period.

Hagelin Goes Live!
Hagelin and Company in Branchburg NJ have now gone live with Chameleon. Integrating seamlessly with BatchMaster, Chameleon is already helping Hagelin produce more with less. As the compounders say; 'I can't believe that the container is where the system said it was!' Below is a shot of some of the crew who were trained and now use the system:

Cosmetic Essence Goes Live!
CEI in Ridgefield NJ has successfully gone live with a 37 user Chameleon MES / WMS system. CEI states that the software is 100% as advertised and that the production numbers are increasing nicely. Below are pictures of the Pre-Weigh room, which represents the 'business end' of the installation:

Valdata is selected as MES / WMS / LIMS solution for Hagelin and Company
Flavor and Fragrance manufacturer Hagelin and Company of Branchburg NJ has selected Valdata as their software solution provider for chemical inventory management and manufacturing. With an expected go-live date of mid/late Q2 2005, this implementation is expected be begin paying for itself in record time. Expected results include increased inventory accuracy and control. Also expected is an increase in Hagelin's manufacturing efficiencies, ultimately helping to cope with tremendous growth.

Valdata is selected as sole solution for CEI
One of the countries larger contract manufacturers (Cosmetic Essence Incorporated) recently selected Valdata's Chemical Management System (CMS) as it's chemical tracking / manufacturing solution. Slated for a start up in Ridgefield, NJ, the system is expected to expand into three other facilities:
* Roanoke, VA
* Edison, NJ
* Holmdel, NJ
The system encompasses the following modules:
RMS (Recipe |Management)
WMS (Warehouse Management)
MES (Manufacturing Execution)
LIMS (Laboratory Information Management)
The initial phase is expected to go live by the beginning of Q2 2005 with expansion to other modules / facilities happening soon there after.

Valdata provides unprecedented success to Shaw Mudge
Valdata Systems recently completed an installation of Chameleon at Shaw Mudge (a manufacturer of fragrances) in Shelton CT.
Taking less than 4 months to install a full chemical management / execution system, Shaw Mudge saw a dramatic increase in productivity within 2 months of going live. The system is fully integrated with a large ERP system from one of the worlds top 5 manufacturers.
Encompassing inventory management from raw material receipt through manufacturing and testing, Shaw Mudge now has inventory accuracy and finished goods traceability that was once thought to be unattainable.

Johnson and Johnson Fully Validate Dispense Master and Chameleon. Johnson and Johnson of Skillman, NJ have completed all OQ and PQ validation testing of both Chameleon and Dispense Master. Together, the software installed has enabled scientists to reduce the development time for sample compounds from close to four (4) weeks, down to just over one (1) week.

Valdata signs on distributors. Valdata Systems invited a number of potential distributors to its Fairfield, NJ location. These distributors have been invited to sell the entire product line available through Valdata Systems. Valdata expects that these
distributors will enhance the customer experience beyond the NY / NJ area.

Valdata Systems develops and installs "Automated Splitting Software" for use with the German made Fricke™ line of automated dispensers. As powerful as Dispense Master is as a tool for controlling manual dosing and compounding, a customer recently asked Valdata to develop an optional software program, which will automatically extract appropriate ingredients and quantities (by order) and pass those pour requests to an automated pouring device.
The system was installed in early November and has exceeded the customer's expectations.

Valdata Systems completes a second order for DMS from J. Manheimer - Clark, NJ. Apparently the comments made by Mr. Gerry Ferrara in the testimonial section were heart felt. This installation has the following:
An integral link with the WMS (warehouse management system) provided by PDA, the current support company for Manheimer in house MRP, CIMPRO. This link will provide real time order updates from CIMPRO to Dispense Master and vice versa. Again, this link emphasizes the 'Snap On' capabilities of DMS. Fixed and portable THIN CLIENT computer workstations utilizing the latest in RF LAN technology from Lucent, 3COM and Symbol. Thin Client workstations utilize Fujitsu HAND HELD Windows CE RF based pen tablets. Datamax thermal printers for printing container license plates.
Dell computer equipment (server and workstations) for increased reliability.
